What topic or topics was this in? Were there any links in any of the posts?

I've noticed that too. It was in topics where links were given at the bottom of the post, and when that happens the edit box where you reply is replaced by a link. It usually says page not found when I click on them.

I've seen that a few times. The whole end of a post would turn into links. Even the edit box so there's no way to respond to a topic.

Can you give me an example of one such topic? I suspect it has something to do with the person not writing the link HTML properly but I can't confirm that without seeing an example. If they forgot to close the A tag then it would probably do what you said.

I wish I could see the PHP code that generated this little beauty. The last line of the post is a URL but not a link as I had suspected. What seems to have happened on the next line of code is this:
<a href="http://www.kitchensinc.net</a></p>
Followed by the form to reply to the post. Anyone who knows HTML will notice how blatently incorrect that line of code is. The link tag is opened but not properly closed, which is why the browser would think that everything after that tag is a link. The reason it points to nowhere is, again, because the code is incorrect and it couldn't work out which part of all that is the URL. I can only put such a thing down to a very dodgy piece of PHP code. Unfortunately I couldn't work out any way to reply to a post like that, so I guess that's a pretty good way to lock a board topic if you never wanna see it again. lol

Hi, guys. I've not seen this myself, but I will pass it along to J and Chris. Sounds like a coding issue, and that's their department.

I saw it too, but figured it was my usual tech problems, so didn't post till now. Glad I'm not going nuts. I tried replying with JFW and WebbIE and with NVDA and Firefox and IE. I don't know why people in general can't simply type in the url of a page as they would in a browser. We could always copy and paste it in. I see that on other sites too.

Hi-ya Time Keeper,

Haven't noticed this particular issue.
Must admit that once in awhile when I go to post
and think it is I click on Report Problem rather than the
Post Reply Button.
